FUNCTIONING

1. Power source
Make sure that the power source to be used conforms to the power requirements speci ed on
the product nameplate.
2. Power or energy switch
Make sure the power switch is in the OFF-O position. If the plug is connected to a power
outlet while the power switch is in the ON-ON position, the power tool will start working
immediately, which could cause a serious accident.

Release the switch in the direction
3. Extension cord
When the work area is away from the power source, use an extension cord of su cient thick-
ness and nominal capacity. The extension sord should be as short as possible.
4. How to install the hammer bit.
WARNING: To prevent accidents, be sure to disconnect the power switch (OFF-O mode) and
disconnect the plug from the outlet.
NOTE: When using tools such as chisel tip chisel, bits, etc., be sure to use our company's original
parts.
(1) To hold the tool (SDS MAX), insert it into the hole until it contacts the inner end of the hole
as shown in Fig. 1 If you operate the tool with light pressure, you can feel the point where there
is a hitch.
