2. When drilling in "rotation + hammer":
If you change the knob function during motor rotation, the tool may start to turn abruptly,
which can lead to unexpected accidents. Be sure to change the knob function when the
engine is completely stopped.
(1) Change to "rotation + hammer"
Rotate the knob function clockwise. Locate the function of the knob and the left cover as
illustrated in Fig. 3
(2) Mount the hammer bit.
(3) Press the switch trigger after putting the tip of the hammer bit to the drilling position.
(4) It is not necessary to push hard on the hammer bit. Press lightly so that the drilling powder
gradually comes out.
CAUTION: Although the machine is equipped with a safety clutch, if the bit gets stuck in con-
crete or other material, it could cause the machine body
turn in the opposite direction. Make sure the main handle and the side handle are rmly atta-
ched during operation.
