MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION
1. Inspect the tool.
Using a blunt tool will decrease e ciency and may cause motor malfunction, sharpen or repla-
ce the tool as soon as the abrasion.
2. Inspect the screw assembly.
Regularly inspect the mounting of all screws and make sure they are tight. If any of the screws
is loose, tighten it immediately. Failure to do so can create serious danger.
3. Engine maintenance
The motor winding unit is the "heart" of the power tool. Take the utmost care to ensure that the
winding is not damaged and / or moistened with oil or water.
4. Inspect the electric brushes
The motor uses carbon brushes which are consumable parts. When worn or close to the "wear
limit" it could cause engine problems.
When an automatic stop carbon brush is equipped, the motor will stop automatically. At that
time, replace both carbon brushes with new ones that have the same carbon brush speci ca-
tion. Also, always keep carbon brushes clean and make sure they move freely within the brush
holders.
