4.3- Tractor coupling
The harvester can be coupled in the side
or rear (back) positions of the tractor. The
coupling is carried out in the same way, in
other words, using the three hydraulic lifting
points of the tractor.
During coupling:
Make sure the tractor is braked.
Operate the tractor's three-point hydraulic
system slowly and carefully.
Never stand between the tractor and the
machine.
CAUTION!
Keep away from this dangerous area
(between tractor and machine) during
coupling. There is a risk of accident with
impact injuries and crushing in the event of
an involuntary movement of the machine
or the tractor.
Choose a flat location and be aware
performing this procedure, there is a risk
of personal injury.
The use of personal protective equipment
(PPE) is mandatory during this procedure.
IMPORTANT!
Before coupling, check if the power
of the tractor is compatible with that
requested by the machine.
Also check if the tractor's three-point
hydraulic lift system supports the
weight of the machine (see machine
weight under 'TECHNICAL FEATURES'
and the lift capacity in the tractor
manual used).
