1 About This Documentation

Documentation validity

This documentation is valid for the AES series bus coupler for EtherNet/IP, with material number
R412018222. The documentation is geared toward programmers, electrical engineers, service
personnel, and system owners.
This documentation contains important information on the safe and proper commissioning
and operation of the product and how to remedy simple malfunctions yourself. In addition
to a description of the bus coupler, it also contains information on the PLC configuration of the bus
coupler, valve drivers, and I/O modules.
