ADDING FENCE SENSORS AS SUBORDINATE NODES

If you use one or more Fence Sensors on an electric fence that is operated by an
electric fence energiser, it is advisable to add these Fence Sensors to the electric fence
energiser as subordinate nodes. This makes it easier to tell the devices apart. It also
prevents the Fence Sensors from triggering an alarm if the electric fence energiser is
deliberately switched off.
1. Press and hold the Menu button in the overview window or the detail window for
more than one second to open the menu.
2. Select the
Pairing
by briefly pressing the Enter button.
3. Use the arrow buttons to select one of the Fence Sensors
from the list.
4. Confirm the selection of the Fence Sensor by briefly
pressing the Enter button.
A window showing the current settings will open (Fig. 9).
The current assignment of the device is displayed in the
Associated to
Info
(House icon) - The Fence Sensor is not subordinate to any device.
GX - The Fence Sensor is subordinate to the electric fence energiser.
5. Use the arrow buttons to navigate to the
onfirm the selection by briefly pressing the Enter button.
6. C
The currently entered value flashes.
7. Use the arrow buttons to choose between the available values.

Only available values are displayed. Other values are skipped.
8. Confirm the selection by briefly pressing the Enter button or the Exit button.
The Fence Sensor is displayed
in the overview window in line
with the settings that have been
made (Fig. 10 and Fig. 11).
