depending on the type of exhaust
system you want to install:
1517424: Joint for exhausts with
Ø27 inlet
1518037: Joint for exhausts
with Ø22.3 inlet (like the original
exhaust)
Calibrating the vehicle
Ignition
Spark ignition model: Check that
the contacts are perfectly clean,
if not, replace them and adjust
the opening to 0.45 mm. Ignition
timing 19° (before the TDC).
Electronic ignition model:
The sparking point set by the
manufacturer is still valid for the
Malossi cylinder kit, so there is no
need to calibrate it.
Fuel system
We strongly recommend replacing
the original fuel system to make
the most of the kit you have just
purchased.
The minimum system
recommended is the SHA 13-13
with E9 air filter art. 1610866.
Exhaust system
Use Malossi exhaust systems
such as 3217479 or 3215438, for
example.
Use 95 octane unleaded petrol or
V-Power or similar fuels.
Lubricant oil
We recommend using Malossi 7.3
synthetic oil and Malossi 7.1 100%
synthetic oil for more intense use.

Running in and maintenance
It is very important to run in the
cylinder kit which will guarantee
that your newly purchased kit
works correctly and lasts over
time. Running-in is finished after
the first 5 hours of operation (not
necessarily consecutively) in which
the engine is kept running, but is
never operated at full power.
This operation guarantees the
correct balance of the components
when moving and self-adjustment
the connection tolerances.
