Child seats can be recalled for safety reasons� You must
register this child seat to be reached in a recall� Send
your name, address, and the child seat's model number
and manufacturing date to Britax Child Safety, Inc�, P�O�

Certification

This restraint is certified for use in motor
vehicles and aircraft when used in harness
mode� This restraint is not certified for use in
aircraft when used in booster mode because
belt-positioning boosters require lap-
shoulder belts not available in aircraft�
Motor Vehicles
This child seat system conforms to all applicable Federal
motor vehicle safety standards (FMVSS 213)�
Aircraft
For aircraft installation, follow lap belt installation
instructions on pages 14 - 15� The tether cannot be used�
– Install your child seat in a window seat to avoid
blocking the aisle�
– If the aircraft lap belt is too short, ask a flight attendant
for a belt extender�
– Your child may experience discomfort if the buckle
is located in the seating area of the child seat after
installation�
– Inflatable aircraft lap belts are not compatible with this
child seat�
– This seat may not fit all aircraft� Contact your airline
prior to travel to verify fit�

Child Fit Information

Harness Mode
Children must:
1� be at least two years of age; and
2� weigh between 25 and 65 lbs (11�3 and 29�4 kg); and
3� measure between 30 and 49 in� (76�2 and 124�5 cm) in
height; and
4� the top of the child's ears
must be below the top of
the head restraint when
seated; and
5� the harness straps must be
in the closest position at or
above the child's shoulders
when seated�
Booster Mode
NOTE: Britax recommends booster mode only after the
child outgrows harness mode.
Children must:
1� weigh between 40 and 100 lbs (18�1 and 29�4 kg); and
2� measure between 45 and 58 in� (114�3 and 147�3 cm) in
height; and
3� the top of the child's ears must be below the top of the
head restraint; and
4� the shoulder belt must be
appropriately positioned
across the center of the
child's chest in the closest
position at or above the
child's shoulder through the
shoulder belt guide; and
5� the lap belt is routed under
the armrests, low across
the child's upper thighs�
