2.4 Operating and checks

Please check:
•the oven has been installed correctly, it is stable and perfectly levelled;
•wiring has been performed correctly, the electric cable is in compliance with the law, that an omnipolar
switch has been installed, and that both this and the facility's electrical system are in proper working
order;
• the water supply system is efficient (check for leaks);
• the efficiency of the gas supply system (check for leaks) and the pressure levels as shown on the table
below;
•the cooking fumes extraction system and, if it has been installed, the hood;
At this point, turn on the oven following the operating instructions and make sure it works proprerly.
Functioning check
Turn on the oven following the operating instructions and check:
•The proper functioning of the heating system, the aeration system of the room, the automatic controls
and checks, and make sure all functions are working properly;
•If necessary, see
"Troubleshooting"
Thermic power of gas ovens check
•The nominal thermic power is indicated on table T (
•The appliance works at the nominal value when the correct nozzle has been installed according to the
type of feed gas and the exerted pressure indicated in the table.
Exerted pressure of gas ovens check
The use a manometer at a minimum setting of 0,2 mbar is requested:
•unscrew the pressure output screw
•measure the pressure while the oven is functioning;
•the value must lie within the limits indicated on the Table T (
interrupt the test and contact the local gas provider;
•disconnect the manometer pipe and insert the pressure output screw as far as it goes.
Periodical recommended check in gas ovens
• Make a cleaning of the burner and the relevants parts 1 once a year;
• make a cleaning of the flues in the installation type
