Remove The DC Sensor

NOTE: When purchasing replacement battery, select a 9 V lithium
battery.
Close the control stop valve.
Using the supplied hex wrench, remove the screw from the cap.
Remove the cap by lifting from the valve body.
Disconnect the plug to the solenoid by pulling the connectors
apart.
Position the cap on its side.
Using a needle nose pliers or equivalent tool, grasp the plastic
clip that holds the DC sensor in place in the cap.
Pull the clip from the cap.
Turn the cap over and slide the sensor into your hand.
NOTE: The lithium battery inside the sensor may be considered
hazardous waste. Discard the old sensor in accordance with any
applicable codes.
If replacing the DC sensor, discard the old DC sensor and battery.
