Disconnecting the Inverter from Voltage Sources
Prior to performing any work on the inverter, always disconnect it from all voltage sources as
described in this section. Always adhere to the prescribed sequence.
Danger to life due to electric shock from destruction of the measuring device
due to overvoltage
Overvoltage can damage a measuring device and result in voltage being present in the
enclosure of the measuring device. Touching the live enclosure of the measuring device results in
death or lethal injuries due to electric shock.
• Only use measuring devices with a DC input voltage range of 1000 V or higher.
Note down the inverter settings before replacing the communication
assembly
Prior to replacing the communication assembly, you must make a note of the specific settings
and values of the inverter, as they will not be automatically adopted after the replacement.
• Note down the following settings or values and reassign them to the inverter via a
communication product after replacement of the communication assembly: NetID, system
time, system passwords, settings for the automatic firmware update via the communication
product and offset of the fed-in power (E-total).
• The following settings and values will be lost during replacement of the communication
assembly and can nor longer be transferred after replacement: event counter, event
logger (event list with time stamp) and data logger (daily yields and day yield curve).
