INTRODUCTION

MANUAL STORAGE
The manual is an integral part of the pump and must always accompany it, also in the case of sale. It must
always be stored in the place of assembly of the pumps, in an easily accessible manner. The operator and the
maintenance technician must be able to obtain it and quickly reference it at any time.
IN PARTICULAR, IT IS RECOMMENDED TO READ CAREFULLY AND REPEATEDLY CHAPTER
3, WHICH CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND WARNINGS ON SAFETY.
The Pumps and the pump + motor units have been designed and built in compliance with the follo-
wing:
Technical safety standards:
EN 60034-1, EN 60204-1, EN 61000, UNI EN 809, UNI EN ISO 12100-1, UNI EN ISO 12100-2,
UNI EN ISO 14121-1, UNI EN ISO 3744
The pump should be assembled, installed, commissioned, subjected to EXTRAORDINARY maintenance,
repaired, overhauled, moved and disassembled by skilled technicians authorised by the MANUFACTU-
RER or by AUTHORISED DEALERS.
The manufacturer is not liable for any damage to people or property caused by the above-mentioned
operations if they are performed by unauthorised personnel, or by incorrect or unauthorised use of the
pump.
In order to understand the language adopted in this manual, the operator must possess specific
expertise in pump servicing and maintenance activities as well as the ability to correctly
interpret the drawings and descriptions contained in the manual, and knowledge of general and
specific accident prevention regulations in force in the country where the pump is installed.
The same criteria apply to the choice of the maintenance technician, who shall also possess the
specific and specialised technical knowledge (mechanical, electrical) required to safely perform
the procedures set out in the manual. .
