4. INSTALLATION

1.4 COMMAND ASSEMBLY
- Remove the screw (V) securing the adjusting ring nut (Fig.27).
- Loosen the adjusting ring nut (G).
- Loosen the gland box (P).
- Remove the shaft (A) from the delivery base side (B) (bottom of unit).
- Recover the key.
- Tighten the sleeve (M) on the last section of the axis line (L).
- Tighten the head shaft (A) on the sleeve (M).
- Tighten the studs (R) in the delivery base.
- Harness the head with ropes or straps, lift it and remove the bracket
(S).
- Lower by inserting the shaft (A) into the appropriate hole, and secure
the axis line (L) to the delivery base studs (R).
- Lift everything and remove the bracket (S).
- Lower the unit onto the support base.
- Adjust the pump as indicated in point 1.5.
- Tighten the stuffing box (P) so that it drips during operation.
For the angle transmission and transmission with booster, the adjusting ring nut can be seen by loosening the head
cover (C)
