2. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
2 CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS
The pumps bodies and impellers are standard supplied in cast iron; on request
they can be supplied in bronze or stainless steel.
The shaft is made of stainless steel.
The specific materials of the individual pumps are given in the technical catalogue.
Special materials can be used on request. .
WARNING!
The various types of the above pumps with acronyms, components and scopes of
performance (flow rate/head diagram) are shown in the "Product Catalogues".
These hydraulic operating specifications have been measured with water at 15°C, at
atmospheric pressure of 1 bar and are guaranteed according to ISO 2548 Class C An-
nex B for pumps made in series.
The main features of the pump and motor are shown on the ID plate affixed on the
pump and motor. (Fig. 1-2 - (Fig. 15)
3 LIMITS OF USE OF THE PUMPS
- Max operating pressure : ................................... see ID Plate on the pump
- Lifting liquids : .................................................... non-aggressive from a chemical and mechanical
- Max content of solid substances in the liquid:... 40 gr/m
- Max working time with closed nozzle: ............... 4 min.
- Flow rate : ........................................................... 6 - 300 m
- Total pump head: ............................................... 10 - 200 m.
- Pump RPM : ........................................................ 3500 g./min (max)
- Lifted liquid max temperature : ......................... 40 °C (in standard execution. Higher temperatures
Special or hazardous applications must be requested in advance from the manufacturer's Technical
Service.
WARNING!
In case of delivery of only the pump unit, the assembler and/or user will be responsible for its cor-
rect application, providing all the necessary safety devices in compliance with the standards in force
in the country of installation and use of the same.
WARNING!
- liquids containing abrasives.
- liquids with solid or fibrous substances.
- flammable and explosive liquids
- chemically aggressive liquids.
Other special uses must be requested in advance from the manufacturer's Technical Service.
4 NOISE LEVEL
The noise levels of centrifugal pumps depend on the type of application. In normal use conditions
and with power not exceeding size 200, 2 or 4 poles of 50Hz frequency, the sound level of an elec-
tric pump is <75 db at about 1 m from the unit.
In case of other pump applications on another manufacturer's motor, it is necessary to perform a
noise test after the installation of the complete system in compliance with the standards laid down
in the country.
