Application

This accessory set contains clamping and connection ac-
cessories for testing the most widely used common rail
pumps from Delphi in conjunction with EPS 815 and the
CRS 845 test set. In addition to the accessories, the set
includes the "EP Software 1 687 000 956" CD. This CD
contains the most up to date versions of the system soft-
ware (EPS944 and EPS945) and a sample test sequence
for testing Delphi common rail pumps. This sample test
sequence includes test steps predefined by Robert
Bosch GmbH but does not specify any setpoints or toler-
ances for the injection and return quantity. This informa-
tion must be determined by the tester or taken from data
sheets and added to the test steps.
For the sake of simplicity, the common rail pumps from
Delphi are referred to as Delphi pumps in this document.

Requirements

CRS 845 test set (1 687 001 845).

Familiarity with operation of the EPS 815 and
CRS 845 test set.
R
Good knowledge of the functioning of common rail
pumps and the handling and production of test se-
quences using the EPS945 system software.

connections are included in the scope of delivery.
