Road safety
The bicycles covered by this manual can be used

the suppor+ of the electric motor. Please do not
ride your bike in extreme conditions, such as

In order to ride it on public roads it is necessary to equip it with all the
equipment required by the regulations in force in the Country of use. For
more information on the equipment contact your Dealer or a Shimano
Service Center.
In some Countries it may be necessary to verify the correspondence of the
characteristics of the bicycle to what is prescribed by specific local
regulations. Check the requirements before using the bicycle.
For your own safety it is required to always wear a helmet.
Pay more at+ention in wet ground conditions because the mud could
cause malfunctions to the braking system; regular checking is
recommended af+er traveling a cer+ain distance.
This manual provides fur+her guidance and instructions on the use of the
bicycle, but do not substitute regulations, decrees nor Laws in force in the
country where it is ridden. (In Italy no permission from authorities, nor a
driver license is required).
Note for parents and legal guardians
A parent or legal guardian is responsible either for the actions and the
security of the child, either for the bicycle state of use and adaptation to
the rider's size. This bike is not suitable for children; however if the parent
or legal guardian decide the kid can ride it, it is their duty to make sure
that the child has learned to use safely and responsibly the EPAC. We
recommend to verify the actual knowledge of riding an EPAC in the
environment in which the bicycle is intended to be used.
