Stems have difeerent sizes in length and diameters: a wrong stem and
a torque higher than 5 Nm could break the handlebar.
If you remove the stem from the fork tube to adjust the height of the
handlebar with the supplied spacers, make sure you leave 3-5mm
between the end of the steering tube and the stem. This allows the
steering head cap to have enough space to properly screw onto the
suppor+ and preload the head set itself. Not complying with these
indications can lead to serious control problems.
Consider that: the lower the handlebar is positioned, the greater the
inclination of the body. An excessively low handlebar causes pain in the
wrists, arms, body and neck, as they are subjected to greater stress.
Close the cap by tightening the upper hexagon and then tighten the stem
screws, making sure that the handlebar is straight in relation to the
bicycle.

Do not turn the handlebars more than 90 ° while riding: it may cause
serious damage. It is useful to practice before get+ing on the saddle and,
in case, to be helped by professional riders;
Fit the pedals taking care to screw the lef+ pedal (marked with the
•
let+er L) in an anti-clockwise direction to the lef+ pedal crank, and the
right pedal (marked with the let+er R) in a clockwise direction to the
right pedal crank;

preferences, whereas at the lowest
point of the crank with the sole of the
foot on the pedal, the leg must not be
completely stretched. With the heel
resting on the crank, the leg should be
extended to the maximum.
