Before each ride

Most of the times MTBs have to stand a lot of stress: each bicycle
component reacts difeerently under stress and may come to fracture
without any warning. It is very impor+ant to check that the bike is
functioning properly and safely before each ride. It is also advisable to
take it to your THOK Point (or authorized dealer) for periodic routine
checks.
In par+icular, following this manual and the instructions writ+en on
suppliers' manuals given together with the bike, make sure that:
All the screws relative to the joints of the rear triangle, linkage, rear
shock and cranks are correctly tightened (see paragraph "Torque char+"
of this manual);
the stem and seat are properly tightened;
front and rear wheels' quick release and passing pins are in place;
wheels spin smoothly without any intereerence with other
components;
tire pressure is correct (refer to what is writ+en on the tire itself);
front and rear brakes are functioning properly;
there are no cracks or signs related to excessive stress on the frame
and the rear triangle;
the bat+ery is sufeiciently charged and properly installed on the bike.
At0ention
If any of the points above is not verified you need to resolve it before
going biking. Perceived vibrations while riding your e-MTB should not
be underestimated as they can be a sign of breakage or loosening of
the components

It is very impor+ant to always carry common bicycle repair tools and an
emergency kit when riding (tire-tube, pump, ...).
Independently pereorm only the actions described in this manual. For all
other works not described please contact a specialist. Use the bike only
af+er having returned it to its optimal state.

In the event of fall

Falls place a lot of strain on your bike's material and components.
Therefore, before you continue on your ride, check your bike for damage
and impaired functions.
Before get+ing on your bike check:
that the seat-post and wheels are firmly secured in the frame and
fork;
that the wheels spin freely;
the air pressure in the tires, the tension of the spokes and the hub
bearing play;
the brake function;
any signs of material fatigue (deformations, fractures, cracks, signs of
impact, etc.).
On some components, signs of damage or sagging af+er a crash may not
be visible. It is however advisable to submit them to exper+ personnel
before using them again; composite components should be either
returned to the manufacturer for inspection or destroyed and replaced.
