    Intended use INTENDED USE The intended users of the Allen® Advance Table are healthcare employees who have been trained to use the product, and who have the physical strength and cognitive skills to operate and control the product. Follow facility safety protocols if an intended user does not have the physical strength or cognitive skills to operate and control the product safely.

    Instructions for Use You will find the retract/extend handle at the center of the cross tube. Lift the retract/extend handle to adjust the overall length of the table from 175.3 cm to 276.9 cm (69" to 109”). Lower the handle to lock the cross tube in position.

    Instructions for Use NOTE: When the On/Off switch is on and the Allen Advance Table is not plugged into a power outlet, the Allen Advance Table operates on battery power. Battery power is for short term use only and should be used for emergency power situations only.

  • Página 25 Instructions for Use Make sure the drop lock on the end of the cross pin moves to the side to hold the H-bracket in position. Repeat the above steps to install a H-bracket on the other column. Lift the end (A) of the flip handle until it locks in position.

However, the number of caregivers will vary based on the patient weight and should be determined by the facility staff for each flip procedure. To do so could cause patient fall, injury, or equipment damage.

The pendant indicator on the display turns off to show that you can not use the pendant controls while the Allen Advance Table is in flip mode.

    Instructions for Use With the help of another person, carefully remove the upper support top. Carefully remove the upper H-brackets. Make sure the patient is in the correct position for the surgical procedure. TRANSFER A PATIENT WARNING: Before you transfer the patient, make sure the brakes on the Allen Advance Table and the other transfer device are locked and the patient and staff are fully prepared for the movement.

    Instructions for Use ACCESS THE CERVICAL TRACTION ASSEMBLY The cervical traction release control is a push button on the upper-left side of the head-end column. Push the cervical traction release button. The assembly moves out from the column. Pull the assembly out from the column, and make sure the assembly is in the locked-out position.

    PARTS REPLACEMENT Remove the nut from pendant cord, and install the nut on the new pendant cable. Make sure the ribbed end of the nut is toward the connector end of the pendant cable. Disconnect the pendant cable from the Allen Advance Table connector. Replacement Make sure the O-ring is installed in the Allen Advance Table connector.
