It is essential to take proper care of the device, and wash it daily following
use. The device can be used immediately after cleaning and drying.
• Remove the device, turn inside out (Figure 6).
• Wash with pH balanced, 100% fragrance- and dye-free liquid soap.
• After washing, rinse the device thoroughly with warm water
(Figure 10), and pat dry on both sides with a lint-free cloth.
NB: Always return the device to its neutral state (with the textile cover
facing out) immediately after cleaning. Do NOT store inside-out as
device damage may result.

• The device should always be checked for wear and damage. Users are
advised to contact their practitioner immediately if any damage is
evident, as it may compromise device effectiveness.
• Both the practitioner and user must ensure the device is NOT
exposed to glass, carbon fibers, or other foreign particles. Such
substances can become embedded in the device material causing
skin irritation. Washing alone may not be sufficient to eliminate the
problem. The device should be returned to the practitioner if it is
inadvertently exposed to foreign substances or chemicals.
• Users should be aware that other common household or bath
products may cause or contribute to skin irritation, e.g. soaps,
deodorants, perfumes, abrasive cleaners, aerosol- or alcohol-sprays.
STORAGE
Store the device with the textile cover facing out in a cool and dry place.
For extended periods of storage, place the device in a clean plastic bag.
WARRANTY
Össur offers a 6-month (from invoice date) limited warranty on
the device.
