normal detergent for dishes.

....LIME BUILD-UP REMOVAL CYCLE
Periodically remove the lime build-up from the machine.
•
The frequency of this operation depends on the degree of hardness of the water used
•
Insert a dose of the lime removal solution (non toxic, widely available for sale, and suitable for coffee
machines) in the water tank (7).
•
Remove the fi lter holder (2a) from the hub and set a container on the grill (3).
•
Press the switch (16) to turn on the machine.
•
Wait until the LED (17a) turns on, then press the switch (17) and allow two or three cupfuls at a time
to be delivered until the tank is completely empty.
•
Repeat the operation 2 or 3 times.
When the operation is completed, remove the residual solution from the circuit by repeating the
above actions using only clean water.
Always follow the instructions provided on the packaging by the manufacturer of the lime remover.
DISPOSAL OF THE APPLIANCE
•
This produce complies with the Directive 2002/96/EC.
•
The symbol representing the crossed out trash can on the appliance indicates that the
product, at the end of its useful life, must be treated separately from domestic waste. It
must be taken to a recycling center for electrical and electronic appliances or turned in to
the point of sale when purchasing a new, equivalent, appliance.
•
The user is responsible for taking the appliance to the recycling center at the end of its life, under penalty
of the sanctions foreseen by the current legislation on waste handling.
•
Correct consignment of the no-longer used appliance to a recycling center for treatment and environmentally
compatible elimination contributes to avoiding a negative impact on the environment and public health,
and permits recycling of the materials from which the product is made.
•
For more detailed information regarding the available collection systems, contract the local refuse center
or the store where the product was purchased.
•
The manufacturer and the importers comply with their responsibility for recycling, treating and
environmentally compatible disposal of waste both directly and in a collective system.

PREPARACIÓN DEL CAFÉ
Para evitar pérdidas de vapor, con todos los modos de uso previstos, JAMÁS distribuya café con el
interruptor de vapor (18) activado:
posibles quemaduras

Para evitar roturas, no tome la empuñadura del depósito de agua durante la colocación y el enganche
del portafi ltro.
1 ....PREPARACIÓN DEL CAFÉ
1a - Uso de café molido
Utilice café molido en polvo adecuado para máquinas de café exprés
tipo "bar".
Verifi que que haya sufi ciente agua en el depósito (7).
No utilice la máquina sin agua en el depósito (7).
•
Quite el portafi ltro (2a) del cubo, girándolo hacia la izquierda.
•
Coloque en el portafi ltro (2a) el fi ltro deseado (12 para una taza - 13 para dos tazas)
(Fig. L1).
•
Utilizando el medidor (11), vierta una dosis de café en el fi ltro para una taza o dos dosis de café en el fi ltro
para dos tazas (Fig. L2).
•
Presione ligeramente el café en el fi ltro utilizando el prensador (11) (Fig. L3).
•
Coloque el portafi ltro (2a) en el cubo (6) (tal como se ilustra en la Fig. H1) y gírelo hacia la derecha,
poniéndolo en posición frontal para engancharlo correctamente (Fig. H2).
Cuando la máquina es nueva, el enganche correcto puede requerir cierta fuerza.
•
Coloque una o dos tazas sobre la rejilla (3) (Fig. P1-P2). Si coloca una taza, céntrela debajo de los picos
de salida del café (Fig. P1).
•
Si el led (17a) está apagado, espere hasta que se encienda y pulse el interruptor (17) para distribuir el
café.
•
Para terminar la distribución, pulse nuevamente el interruptor (17).
Durante el funcionamiento de la máquina, el led (17a) se enciende y se apaga.
Esto es normal, ya que la máquina está dotada de un dispositivo de control de la temperatura.
No quite el portafi ltro (2a) del cubo (6) si el interruptor (17) está pulsado.
