(9) The individual menu items

Description of the path from main menu page.

(9.1) Optimum pH value

Opened directly from the main display page by pressing the OK key. The value to be
altered fl ashes and can be changed using the selection keys. For more details see Item 6.
The optimum pH value set appears on the main display page (Item 5)

(9.2) Calibration

Open with the following steps:
Menu key > select Calibration > press OK > Start calibration > press OK.
The device now takes you step by step through a two-point calibration. The device is
fi rst calibrated with 7.00 buffer solution and then with 4.00 buffer solution. See Item
3.3 for carrying out the calibration and Item 10.1 for further details.
Following successful calibration, the time until the next calibration reminder is set back
on the main display page (Item 5) to 30 days/720 hours.

(9.3) Auto pH

Open with the following steps:
Menu key > select auto pH > press OK > enter CH using selection keys (value fl ashes)
> press OK.
Enter the CH (KH) measured in your aquarium and the device automatically calculates
the corresponding optimum pH value, to guarantee a CO
mg/l. This pH value is automatically stored as optimum pH value when you press the
OK key after entering the CH. This ensures luxuriant plant growth without any danger
to the fi sh. The values on which the auto pH function are based can be seen as auto
pH curve in the table above.
The values set appear in turn in the status line on the main display page (Item 5).
Auto pH is factory-set at CH 8 (German degrees).
