Step Action
7 Tighten the bolts (3x) again.
8 Check the position of the sealing strip in relation to the
sealing rail by extending and retracting the ELS kiln
floor.
9 Adjust the 2nd sealing strip as well.

13.9. Aligning the drive mechanism of the ELS kiln floor

If the drive mechanism of the ELS kiln floor does not work properly and smoothly, it must be checked and aligned.
Step Action
1 Switch off the kiln and let it cool down.
2 Open the kiln door.
3 Check whether the guide rollers are dirty.
4 Check whether the guide rails are dirty.
Remark
Tool:
Allen key
⇒ When moving the kiln floor, the sealing
strip must not rub against the kiln casing.
⇒ If the ELS kiln floor is completely retracted,
the sealing strip should rest evenly over the
entire length against the sealing rail on the
kiln casing.

If necessary, remove any dirt from the guide
rollers.
