Door safety switch

The kiln door safety switch is located below the hinge of the kiln door. When the kiln door is completely closed, the
switch head of the safety switch falls into a recess on the hinge. The door safety switch prevents the operating
personnel from opening the kiln door and accessing the kiln while it is in operation.

Intended use

⇒ The kiln is used to fire ceramic products and similar non-metallic materials such as porcelain and similar ware,
⇒ as well as the heat treatment of technical ceramics, metallic materials and non-metallic materials such as

documents (e.g., the technical manual for the control system).
⇒ Any use of the kiln that goes beyond the use described above must not be undertaken.

flammable and impermissible materials.
⇒ All information and safety regulations in the original operating instructions must be followed.

All safety instructions attached to the kiln must be followed.

The kiln may only be operated by briefed or trained specialist personnel.
⇒ Children and young people under the age of 18 are not allowed to operate or use the kiln.
⇒ Mentally and physically handicapped people are not allowed to operate or use the kiln.

The kiln may only be operated within its specific temperature limits.
⇒ The kiln must not be used as a heater or dryer. This includes the heating of food or spaces, and the drying of
clothes or animals, which are not permitted.
