· This monitor can be placed on a tabletop by using the retractable table stand on the back of
the monitor. When not in use, simply tuck the table stand away into the back of the monitor until

5.1. BEFORE USE

5.1.1. PARENT UNIT POWER AND BATTERY USE
The monitor, or parent unit, of this baby monitor is designed to be used with the battery or
with the AC/DC adapter supplied. The rechargeable battery must be charged for at least eight
hours before using the unit for the first time or if it has not been used for a long time. Your
baby monitor is supplied with a rechargeable 3.7V 1200mAh Li-ion battery for the monitor. We
recommend using the battery in the monitor in order to be able to receive the audio/video signal
from the camera anywhere. Connect the monitor to the adapter plugged into the mains whenever
possible, in order to keep the battery charged.
