ADJUSTING THE VALVES
Valve adjustments may change over time, as the vehicle is used,
thus causing an improper flow of air / fuel or engine malfunction-
V
ing.
For this reason, valves must be periodically adjusted (see the
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE AND LUBRICATION table on page 30)
by a MALAGUTI dealer possessing the necessary technical skills
and experience to perform this job.
ADJUSTING THE CARBURETTOR
The carburettor is an important part of the engine and requires
very accurate adjustments. Therefore, most carburettor adjust-
ments should be left to a MALAGUTI Dealer, who has the
necessary professional knowledge and experience.
The carburettor has been set and extensively tested at the
MALAGUTI factory. Changing these settings may result in poor
performance or damage to the engine.
