The safe use of this product requires an understanding of the
information on the tool and in this operator's manual as well as a
knowledge of the project you are attempting. Before use of this
product, familiarise yourself with all operating features and safety
rules.
ERGONOMIC DESIGN
The design of the trimmer provides for easy handling. It is
designed for comfort and ease of grasp when operating in different
positions and at different angles.
GRASS DEFLECTOR
The trimmer includes a grass deflector that helps protect you from
flying debris.
OIL CAP/DIPSTICK
Remove the oil fill cap to check and add lubricant when necessary.
TOP-MOUNTED MOTOR
The top-mounted motor improves balance and is located away
from the dust and debris of the cutting area.
ASSEMBLY
UNPACKING
This product requires assembly.
C arefully remove the product and any accessories from the
box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are
included.
I nspect the product carefully to make sure no breakage or
damage occurred during shipping.
D o not discard the packing material until you have carefully
inspected and satisfactorily operated the tool.
I f any parts are damaged or missing, please call Ryobi
customer services for assistance.

ATTACHMENT

The attachment connects to the power head shaft by means of a
coupler device.
