Help in the case of faults
Temporary faults
Conergy IPG T series
String inverters of the Conergy IPG T series are fully
automatic and require no maintenance. If a fault occurs with
the inverter, the current fault indicator will be shown by
means of
| LED indicators,
| the display and/or
| Conergy monitoring unit
The inverter may switch off temporarily in the following
cases:
Grid fault
The Conergy IPG T series string inverter monitors the single-
phase feed of power to the grid using the phase-shifting
process. If there is a fault in the public power grid, each
string inverter detects this fault due to the change in
frequency of the current. The string inverter switches off. The
inverter waits 2 minutes before switching back on after a grid
fault (depending on country setting).
DC overvoltage
If the DC input voltage exceeds the limit value of 1000 V, the
inverter interrupts the power feed to the grid. It switches off.
A permanent DC input voltage of over 1000 V can cause
lasting damage to the inverter.
