5.2
Connecting the power cable
Each Conergy IPG T series string inverter has a 5-pin AC Out
socket (see figure 3.1, page 16, item (5)) for connecting to
the grid.
Required tools and materials
| Torque wrench
| Cable stripper
| Slotted screwdriver (1.0 mm× 5.5 mm)
| Mains plug (included in the delivery)

For wire cross-section up to 16 mm
Recommendation for simpler connection:
Use flexible cable with a wire cross-section of 6 mm
above.
Note:
A maximum 32-A-AC fuse is to be used.

For cable diameters of 15–25 mm
Connecting the power cable
1. Strip the cable to 70 mm.
Material damage due to damaged wire strands
Damaged wire strands may break and heat up.
| Do not damage the wire strands.
2. Strip wires to 10 mm.
Risk of injury due to electrical hazards
When commissioning, the electrical system may still present
a hazard despite careful installation and compliance with the
basic safety instructions. These hazards include:
| Direct contact with electrically live system components
| Electrostatic processes
| Short circuits and overloading
