Starting after a Time-Delay
NOTE:
You can start the cooking process after a delay. The time you
select always includes the cooking time.
For example, if you would like your rice to be ready in 2 hours,
select 2 hours in the display and the dish will be ready in
2 hours.

When the display shows "00:00" press the SET button. The
fi rst fi gure fl ashes in the display.
•
Press the "+" button in order to enter a fi gure (the time).
•
Press the "-" button. The second fi gure fl ashes.
•
Press the "+" button again to enter a fi gure.
•
Proceed in the same manner in order to enter the next two
fi gures.
•
Press the SET button.
•
Select a programme as described above.
•
Press the START/OFF button to fi nish. The "WAIT" lamp
goes on.
•
A countdown begins Once this has run down the cooking
process is fi nished.
Stopping Operation
Press the START/OFF button. The "HEAT" lamp goes off.
Standby Switch
Press the START/OFF button twice. The "HEAT" lamp goes off,
as do the words in the display.
NOTE:
In standby mode the „POWER" lamp, the „PROG" lamp and
the background illumination of the display remain on.
Replenishing with Water
Is no more steam been produced? Has the water been used up
during the cooking process? Water now has to be replenished.
•
Press the START/OFF button and remove the mains plug
from the socket.
•
Open the drawer on the right of the collection dish.
•
Fill the water up to the MAX mark.
•
Continue operation.

Cleaning the Outside of the Base
Wipe the outside of the base only with a damp cloth and then
dry with a different cloth.

Cleaning the Lid, Steaming Dishes, Collection Dish,
Rice bowl
Do not clean these parts in the dishwasher. The clear plastic
surfaces might become dull.

In case of hard water lime gradually deposits on the heating
element. This can lead to the premature end of the steaming
process before the food is cooked.

Always remove the mains plug before cleaning and wait
until the device has cooled down.
Under no circumstances should you immerse the base of
the steam cooker in water in order to clean it, as otherwise
this might result in an electric shock or fi re.
CAUTION:
Do not use any wire brushes or other abrasive objects.
Do not use any acidic or scouring agents.
Pour any residual water out of the tank.
Then wipe the tank dry with a cloth.
CAUTION:
These parts can be cleaned by hand in soapy water.
Rinse off with clear water and dry the parts off.
Decalcifying
To avoid this problem, after using the appliance 7-10 times
put 3 cups of vinegar in the water container and fi ll it to the
MAX mark with water.
Do not put the lid on the appliance nor the steam and rice
bowls nor the collection dish in the steam cooker.
Insert the mains plug into a socket and set the clock to 30
minutes. A Once the timer has run down, remove the plug
from the socket. Leave the appliance to cool.
Pour out the contents of the water container. Rinse the water
container several times with cold water.
