5.5. OPERATING CONDITIONS FOR WHICH EQUIPMENT IS
NOT DESIGNED
The set cannot be used to handle:
− dirty water or water with solids in suspension;
− water containing acids or bases, and corrosive liquids in
general;
− water with a temperature over the temperature limit
given in chap. 5.6;
− seawater;
− flammable liquids and hazardous liquids in general;
− GP sets are not designed for portable use or use out-
EN
doors.
WARNING
NB: THE MOTOR-DRIVEN PUMP MUST NEVER
BE MADE TO WORK WITHOUT LIQUID.
5.6. OPERATING CONDITIONS
For operating conditions, refer to chapter 4 in part 2 "TECHNICAL
SPECIFICATIONS" relating to the pump. Maximum temperature
of liquid pumped is in the range 40-55 °C depending on the kind
of pump installed (see the individual pump's user manual).
