TROUBLESHOOTING
CAUSE
Gas cylinder valve open.
Hose, regulator, or valve leaking.
Fire in burner tube due to blockage.
I m p ro p e r i n s t a l l a t i o n a n d l o o s e
connections.
Mechanical failure due to rusting or
mishandling.
Grease build up in burner area.
LP gas cylinder is empty.
Trying to light wrong burner.
Burner not connected to control knob.
Venturi blocked.
Vapor lock at coupling nut to LP cylinder.
Ignitor wire(s) are loose, dirty, or not
connected.
Dead battery in ignitor.
LP gas cylinder is empty.
Venturi blocked.
Venturi blocked.
Cylinder valve turned on too quickly.
Venturi or burners may be blocked.
This is a build up of grease. The inside
of the hood is not painted.
Turn off cylinder valve immediately and tighten
connections.
Turn off cylinder valve immediately and check
for damaged hose, regulator, or valve. Per-
form leak test, see "Testing Valves, Hose, and
Regulator for Leaks" in the Assembly section.

Tighten fittings and see "Testing Valves, Hose,
and Regulator for Leaks" in the Assembly section.
Replace or refill LP gas cylinder.
Turn off control knobs and cylinder valve.
Leave hood open allowing flames to
extinguish. Once cool, clean grill thoroughly.
Replace or refill LP gas cylinder.

Make sure valves are inside the burner tubes.

Turn off control knobs and cylinder valve.
Reconnect burner electrode wires or replace
the ignitor wire assembly. Clean wires and/
or electrode with rubbing alcohol and a clean
swab. Tighten all connections.
Replace the battery in the ignitor.
Replace or refill LP gas cylinder.

valve on slowly.
