17. Remove the fasteners (1) securing the lower steering
opening trim cover (2).
18. Using trim/fiber stick or equivalent, disengage the re­
taining clips on the lower steering opening trim cover
(2) and remove.
19. Remove the outlet vents (1) on the driver and passen­
ger sides.
20. Position the column tilt at the full­upward position.
21. Remove the steering column cover reinforcement
mounting screws (2). Remove the steering column
cover reinforcement (1).
