OUTBOARD ENGINE FIXATION
1. Position the engine as centered as possible. Tighten the clamps securely and
continuously. Due to the vibration of the engine, it may happen that the fixing screws
on the boat may eventually come loose, always check the tightening of the same.
ATTENTION
Loose attachment screws may allow the outboard to come loose or move over the boat's
transom. This may cause loss of control of the vessel.
Always make sure the bolts are tight and tight, checking the recoil occasionally when
using the engine.
2. Tie a rope or chain to prevent engine loss if it accidentally loosens from the boat and
falls into the water. Attach one end to the proper location of the engine and another
end to a safe point on the boat.
3. Secure the securing bracket to the crossbar with the appropriate screws. For details,
consult your dealer TOYAMA.
ATTENTION:
Avoid using improper bolts, nuts, and washers. After tightening, test the motor operation and
recheck the tightening.
OUTBOARD ENGINE FIRST USE
Your new engine needs a softening period to allow the surfaces of the parts to adjust. Correct
engine adaptation will ensure proper performance and long life of the outboard.
