SAILING IN SALTED WATERS
After using the outboard in salt water, flush the water passage for cooling with fresh water to
prevent the accumulation of salt deposits.

8 MAINTENANCE

While using the outboard, periodic maintenance is required so you can ensure your
performance.
ATTENTION:
Be sure to turn off the engine when you are performing maintenance. If you or the owner is
not familiar with the maintenance of the machine, this work should be done by your authorized
representative or a qualified mechanic.
LUBRIFICATION
Lubrication should be done periodically at the points shown. Check according to model
purchased.
