CAUTION
Change the transmission oil after the first 10 hours of operation, and then every 100 hours or 6
months, whichever comes first. Failure to do so may cause damage to the transmission gears.
4. Remove the oil level check plug to allow the oil to drain completely.
CAUTION
Inspect "old" oil after draining. If there is water contamination, this may indicate damage to the
gears and transmission. Consult your dealer TOYAMA.
5. Use a flexible or pressurized filling device and inject the oil through the drain hole.
6. When the oil begins to flow out of the oil level check plug hole, insert the screw
(gauge) from the plug and tighten it.
7. Replace and tighten the transmission oil drain plug.
CLEANING THE FUEL TANK
When servicing the fuel tank, keep away from sparks, cigarettes, flames, or any other source of
ignition when cleaning the tank.
Carry out cleaning the fuel tank in an open, well-ventilated place.
1. Empty the fuel tank. Use a suitable, certified container to store the old fuel.
2. Pour a small amount of suitable solvent into the tank. Replace the tank cap and
shake it. Drain the solvent thoroughly.
3. Remove the fuel filter junction.
4. Clean the filter with solvent and allow to dry.
5. Replace the gasket with a new one. Reinstall filter and junction securely by tightening
the set screws.
CHECKING AND REPLACING ANODOS) OF SACRIFICE
The motors have a system to prevent corrosion, consisting of anodes.
Inspect the anodes periodically. Remove layers of deposits or dirt from anode surfaces.
Consult your authorized TOYAMA dealer for replacement of the sacrificial anodes.
CAUTION! Do not paint anodes as this makes them ineffective, accelerating the corrosion
process.
