• Charging a battery with the negative pole grounded: Connect the red cable
to the positive pole of the battery and the black cable to the chassis of the vehicle.
Be sure that the black cable is not in the proximity of the battery, carburetor, fuels
places or fine metallic parts.

• Before the disconnection of the battery cable turn the charger off or disconnect it
from the AC Supply.

Connecting the charger in a battery that is NOT MOUNTED in the vehicle:
• Be careful with the polarity of batteries. The POSITIVE (POS, P, +) terminal is
normally greater than the negative terminal (NEG, N, -).
• Connect he red cable to the positive pole and the black cable to the negative
pole
of the battery. Case wrong connection is made, a protective circuit in the charger
avoid damaging the battery or the charger.
• When switching the battery off, proceed always in the opposite sequence of
connection.
Connect the charger with a power
socket. The High Frequency Charger
BHFL75 starts automatically the
operation and it will appear the
following basic menu.
The following programs are available:
7 Easy charging (Battery charging, without having to enter further
parameters)
8 Boost charging (Battery is charged quickly)
9 Charging+TEST (Battery is charged for individual adjustment+Battery Test)
10 Service mode (Buffering during service- / diagnostics at the car)
