A single-use patient circuit, which is composed of:
• A single-use patient tube (1) together with its control
tube (2);
• A single-use expiratory valve already connected to the
tubes above (3).
All our single use patient circuits are assembled in their
original packaging.
Three single-use patient circuits (KG019900) are
delivered together with the ventilators.
IV.4.2. Autoclavable patient circuit (optional)
• Clean the patient circuit with soapy water or with a
cleaning solution..
Y

• Disinfection of the patient circuit may be made by
immersion in a disinfecting solution, after cleaning.
• Steam sterilize the patient circuit, following the
instructions in the adjacent table.
• Bacteriological filter: It is advisable to change the
• bacteriological filter on the insufflation output connection
at least each time the patient circuit is sterilized, or each
time the equipment is connected to a new patient.
IV.4.3. OSIRIS 2
• The unit may be cleaned with a cloth dampened with
soapy water, avoiding any risk of water entering the
apparatus (electronic circuitry may be damaged), then
wipe with a dry cloth or a cloth impregnated with a water/
alcohol solution.
• Disinfection of the outer surfaces of the unit may be
made with a spray such as Surfanios
to the manufacturer's instructions, especially dosage)
or with cloths impregnated with an alcohol-based
disinfecting solution.
• OSIRIS 2 may be sterilized with a formaldehyde gas
unit.
Procede as follows:
• Connect the OSIRIS 2 to the sterilizing unit via the
ambiant air connection
