3. Install mounting plate
Disconnect power to fan location before installing mounting plate.
Mount only to an outlet box marked acceptable for fan support.
Secure mounting plate to mounting structure with suitable hardware (not supplied)
(Fig. 3). Outlet box shown. Your mounting structure may diff er.

4. Install single mounting bracket
Loosely attach one mounting bracket to the mounting plate with two 6 mm nylock nuts,
but do not fully tighten (Fig. 4).
