Selecting the Language for OSD
(On Screen Display)
You can select the language for OSD (On Screen
Display). This setting allows you select a preferred
language for the DVD SETUP menu and operating
messages. The default language is ENGLISH.

TV Type
PAL :
Select PAL when a PAL TV(European standard) is
connected.
NTSC :
Select NTSC When a NTSC TV is connected.
MULTI :
Select MULTI When a MULTI TV is connected.

Video Output

S-VIDEO:
Select this when your TV or monitor is connected
via the S-VIDEO jack.
S-VIDEO signal is output from the S-VIDEO jack.
COMPONENT:
Select this when your TV or monitor is connected
via the COMPONENT VIDEO jack.
Component video signal is output from the
COMPONENT VIDEO OUT jack.
RGB :
Select this when your TV or monitor is compatible
with RGB.
RGB video signal is output from the AV
CONNECTOR.
< Regardless of the setting, the VIDEO OUT jack is
always active.
< If your TV or monitor is compatible with
progressive scan, connect the TV via the
COMPONENT VIDEO jack and set the progressive
mode "ON".
< When your TV or monitor isn't compatible with
progressive scan, never select "PROG ON". No
picture will be shown on the monitor.
In case you select "PROG ON" by mistake, press
the DVD SETUP button and the GUI button to turn
off the progressive scan mode.
