Measure the distance between the grooved bush, (fi g.16
- 1), and the male telescopic arm, (fi g.16 - 2). Then cut
away the surplus part of the rotation half-shaft (dia. 25x3).
Repeat the operation on both sides.
•
Replace the torsion half-shafts, complete with the grooved
bushes, on the ends of the splined shaft. Block the
grooved bushes on the ends of the EM 51 shaft, using
the setscrews and the Allen key (fi g.17).
•
Insert in the left half-shaft (fi g.18 - 1) he side support
(fi g.18 - 2) using a spirit level (fi g.18 - 3) to ensure that
the half-shaft is perfectly horizontal. Secure the side
support (fi g.19 - 4) to the frame of the up-and-over door
by welding or with self-tapping screws.
Warning
The half-shaft must be perfectly horizontal and parallel
to the door panel; otherwise fi t spacers (fi g.19 - 5) on the
side support until it is horizontal.
