Care
This manual describes how to use the equipment and how to store it properly.
Tecnomotor accepts no responsibility for any damage or personal injury to third
parties and for the use of the equipment for anything not designed.
• The measurement and operation methods in these instructions are for general
guidance only;
• Always follow the legislation, where applicable, or the recommendations of the
manufacturer of the particular vehicle or system under test;
• Try to install the machine in a place with good ventilation;
• Always leave this manual near the machine;
• Always keep the MSDS of used test fluid near the machine and follow all
directions contained therein;
• The equipment has a safety system that monitors the opening of the
protective cap during the tests, that is, if the cap is opened during the test the
machine will interrupt the process;
• Any defects in the machine contact the manufacturer, do not make palliative
repairs.
Caution: It must be operated by properly trained and qualified personnel.
The fluid (oil) used in the equipment should only be as recommended by
the manufacturer.
The equipment reaches high temperatures when in operation and contact
with hot parts can cause serious injury to the user.
The injectors, sensors and valves, suffer temperature increase during the
tests. Handling them immediately after they are finished may result in
burns.
Connecting the injectors, sensors and valves to the equipment requires the
handling of specific tools for this purpose.
The equipment has a safety system against opening the protection cover
during the tests. The operator must not in any way interfere with the correct
functioning of this system, which may suffer serious health consequences.
The safety cover should not be opened during testing. If this occurs, the
system pauses, requiring close and command to restart the test.
Adapters and connectors, if improperly connected, can lead to oil leakage.
Keep the equipment closed at all times and with the integrity protection
system intact.
The Common Rail Test has automatic features that tell you the need to
change fluid (oil) and filter. Failure to replace these components when
necessary may result in erroneous measurements and damage to the
equipment and components tested.
