If the injector has nozzle leakage or excess oil through the return line, the TM 514
will display a failure message as shown in the screen below.
Note:
During the tightness test, the TM 514 does not electrically drive the injector,
giving it only the oil pressure.
Injector Start Test
The purpose of this test is to verify the condition of the injector spray jet (visual).
To do this, the injector jet breaker must be removed fron injector and the test
carried out leaving the injector in the TM 514 vat.
ATTENTION: This test requires a lot of attention from the operator as
pressure causes a very thin oil jet to come out and sparks can fire the oil.
For this test as with others, it is recommended to do so with the safety
cover closed.
