Dirtying of the electrical contacts

Risk of injuries due to faulty control or malfunction of the Axon-Bus prosthetic system caused
by an insufficient supply of power to the Axon-Bus components.
→ Ensure that the contacts of the charging receptacle are always clean and free of grease.
→ Clean the electrical contacts of the battery charger and charging receptacle regularly using
cotton swabs and a mild soap solution.
→ Avoid damaging the contact surface coating with pointed or sharp objects.

Improper care of the housing

Damage to the housing through the use of acetone, benzine or similar solvents.
→ Only use a damp cloth and mild soap to clean the housing.

5.1 Function
The 757B500 AxonEnergy Integral serves to provide power to the Axon-Bus prosthethic system.
6 Components
6.1 Rechargeable Battery
The rechargeable battery (Fig. 1, item 1) consists of Li-ion cells with integrated electronics. This
protects the battery against short circuits, overvoltage, undervoltage and charging outside the
allowable temperature range.
6.2 Charging Receptacle
The charging receptacle (Fig. 1, item 2) has the following functions:

Contacts for charging the battery

LED display to indicate the current battery charge level
•
LED display for providing feedback on operating states
•
Button to turn the Axon-Bus prosthetic system on and off, display the battery charge level and
open the Axon-Bus gripping component in an emergency
