case of any repair carried out by a person other than the Manufacturer, who uses internal and external technicians authorised to do so; moreover, doing so will invalidate
the warranty.
• The operator must wear suitable personal protective equipment, such as gloves, footwear, etc. during all checking, maintenance and cleaning operations.
• Establish a maintenance schedule and periodic inspections, identifying a reference person who meets the basic requirements set forth in the User Manual.
• The frequency of inspections is determined by factors such as legal requirements, type of use, frequency of use, and environmental conditions during use and storage.
• Repairs of products must be carried out by Spencer Italia S.r.l., who shall make use of specialised internal or external technicians who, using original spare parts, shall provide
quality repair service in strict compliance with the technical specifications indicated by the Manufacturer. Spencer Italia S.r.l. declines any responsibility for any direct or
indirect damage resulting from improper use of spare parts and/or any repair work carried out by unauthorised parties.
• Use only original or Spencer Italia S.r.l. approved components/spare parts and/or accessories in order to carry out all operations without causing alterations or modifications
to the product.
• All maintenance activities must be recorded and documented with the relevant technical operation reports. This documentation must be kept for at least 10 years after the
end of the product's life and must be made available to the competent authorities and/or the Manufacturer when requested.
Regulatory requirements:
As Distributor or End-User of the products manufactured and/or marketed by Spencer Italia S.r.l., users are strictly required to be familiar with the legal provisions in force in
the country of destination of the goods, applicable to the devices to be supplied (including regulations relating to technical specifications and/or safety requirements) and,
therefore, to understand the requirements necessary to ensure compliance of the products themselves with all legal requirements of the territory.
• Promptly and in detail notify Spencer Italia S.r.l. (already in the quotation request phase) about possible fulfilments by the Manufacturer necessary for the compliance of
products with specific legal requirements of the territory (including those deriving from regulations and/or regulatory provisions of another nature).
• Act with due care and diligence to help ensure compliance with the general safety requirements of the devices placed on the market, providing end-users with all the infor-
mation necessary to carry out periodic revisions on the supplied devices, exactly as indicated in the User Manual.
• Participate in safety checks on products placed on the market, transmitting information regarding product risks to the Manufacturer as well as to the Competent Authorities
for their respective actions.
• Without prejudice to the above, the Distributor or End-User shall assume wider liability related to non-compliance with non-fulfilment of the above-mentioned obligations,
with consequent obligation to indemnify and/or hold Spencer Italia S.r.l. harmless from any possible injurious effect.
General warnings
The user must carefully read the following in addition to the general warnings.
• The device is not intended to be used for purposes other than those explicitly stated in this manual.
• Follow the internal procedures and protocols approved by your organisation for product maintenance and disinfection.

SPECIFIC WARNINGS
• Spencer Italia s.r.l. cannot be held liable for damage resulting from negligence on the part of operators or from careless or irresponsible use.
Do not place any parts of the body near the handling areas of the device – Crushing hazard.

• Operation of the device via foot pedal or external control must be done without interference and without obstructing or otherwise interfering with the handling systems.

• Take the utmost care when positioning the load. An improperly balanced load can fall and cause serious damage.
• Do not sit on the device.

• Do not use pressurised water jets. Follow the cleaning procedures described in the relevant section of this manual.

• Do not use the device if it is damaged or unclean.
• The user must not have any impairments that prevent the correct reading and interpretation of the information contained on the labels of the device as well as in this manual

• Do not wash or clean the device with water jets or pressurised air.
• Do not use drying machines.
• Check correct functioning of the product before and after each use; if any alterations or failures are detected, restore the safety conditions before the next use.
• Before each use of the device, check its perfect functioning as specified in the user manual. In the event of damage or faults that could affect the correct operation or the
safety of the device itself or the operators, the device must be taken out of service immediately and the manufacturer must be contacted immediately.
• If the device is supplied with accessories that have a limited lifespan, these must not be used beyond this period.
• Do not lubricate any parts other than any described in this manual.
• Do not use the device unless it has undergone the maintenance foreseen or required by normal use.
• Only use accessories and spare parts approved by the manufacturer.
• Ensure that the foreseen maintenance has been carried out.
• Do not modify push-button panels, pedals or wiring in any way. Such modifications may compromise product safety.
6.1
OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS
The Jack-E and Power Jack E series trolleys are devices intended for professional use only. Each operator must be trained in their use and maintenance to ensure that
optimum operating conditions are maintained. Do not allow untrained persons to help while using the product, as they may cause injury to themselves or others.
Operators must be able to assess the conditions of the device. They must be able to assess anomalies, communicating any problems to the responsible parties and inter-
rupting use of the product. Operators' skills must be assessed before the definition of roles in use of the product.
7.
RESIDUAL RISK
The residual risks listed below have been identified solely with reference to the intended use of the device.
• Placing body parts within the product handling areas can cause crushing/shearing.
• Performing maintenance procedures without first disconnecting the power supply may cause crushing/ shearing.
• Pay attention to the presence of any potential sources of electromagnetic interference, which may interfere with the device under certain circumstances.
• Failure to use appropriate PPE could result in injury from impact and/or crushing.
