The main brush sweeps dust and refuse into the bin at the rear of the sweeper.
!
Warning!: Never sweep up string, wire, etc., which can become entangled in the
brush and damage the bristles.
Lifting and lowering the main brush
The main brush is lifted and lowered by lever A, (fig.12). The main brush is floating.
Adjusting the main brush
The main brush should just touch the floor, leaving an even trace 4-5 cm (see fig.11) wide
when it rotates.
Procede as follows to adjust the main bush:
• Loosen the screw 1 (fig.12)
• Move in ahead of a notch the adjusting 2 (fig.12)
• Tighten the screw 1
Removing the main brush
The main brush can be removed from the lefthand side of the sweeper and the removal
operations must be carried out in the following order:
1) Open the main brush inspection door 1 (fig.13).
2) Unscrew nut 2
3) Remove spring 3.
4) Remove lever and drive roller unit 4 and guard 5.
5) Remove flap 6.
6) Remove brush 7.

1) Fit the main brush (see assembly position fig.14) and try to the centre the notches with the fins
on the right-hand side drive support.
2) Fit the unit 4 and guard 5 fig.13 onto the brush
3) Tighten nut 2 until the drive support enters the brush (fig.13)
4) Fit spring 3 (fig.13).
!
Warning!: The main brush has a correct assembly on the left side (see fig. 13),
point 1 (fig.14) shows the driving direction of the sweeper.
