3.2.3 HC Test
Check for the presence of hydrocarbons inside the gas sampling probe.
Warning: the gas sampling probe must not be inserted inside vehicle exhaust
during this operation.
3.2.4 Leak Test
It checks the pneumatic tightness of the analyser by creating a vacuum in the
pneumatic circuit.
To perform the test, the user is asked to close the sampling probe and wait for
a few seconds for the automatic test.
If test outcome is negative the instrument will not start the Official Test or Blue
Tag test.
3.2.5 Running the test
Follow the displayed instructions.
Once the gas sampling probe has been inserted, the programme automatically
indicates the next steps to be performed.
Bring the engine rpm value within the indicated range and wait for the gas
stabilisation phase.
At the end of the test, if the engine rpm value has not been detected correctly,
the manual entry of the values is requested.
The result of the test is displayed once test is completed.

3.2.6 Print report
Select "Print" and confirm by pressing button.
Enter vehicle data: factory, type, registration plate,
frame, mileage, year of first registration.
Finally enter the name of the technical manager who
performs the test.
