RAIL CROSS PIN INSTALLATION

NOTE: Install rail cross pin after jack screw
1. At bottom end of rail (base of stairs), position
SRE Cross Pin Drill Template after first tooth
of first gear rack. Template hole should be up
against the part of the extrusion covering the
gear rack (Fig. 1). Template "teeth" should fit
up against the gear rack valleys (Fig. 2).

2. Using a 1/8" (3.2mm) drill bit (Bruno P/N:
DRB-13001, provided with kit SRV-3000-023),
place a hole in 2 walls of the extrusion (Figs. 3
and 4). Do not drill through entire extrusion.
