Run carriage up and down rail to:
Recheck seat-to-wall clearance.

Check correct operation of all components.
c
Test main components:
Check proper operation of battery charger
c
(see page 35).
Check call/send transmitters (see
c
Reprogramming Remote Transmitters
on page 32).
Check on/off switch.
c
Check footrest safety switches.
c
Check that stairlift cannot operate
c
with seat swiveled.
Check carriage end safety switches.
c
Test power folding rail (if applicable):
Check that when disable switch is turned off
c
that rail cannot fold.
Listen for continuous beep when folding rail
c
is in motion. (This warns nearby people of
rail operation.)
Check that control box light flashes yellow.
c
Make final adjustments (see Post-
Installation Adjustments):
Adjust seat height.
c
Adjust footrest.
c
Adjust seat arm extension.
