Loosen the auxiliary handle by unscrewing it.
For right-handed users, slide the auxiliary grip flange over the collar behind the chuck, handle to the left.
For left-handed users, slide the auxiliary handle flange over the collar behind the chuck, handle to the
right.
Rotate the side handle to the desired position and tighten it.
7.6 Selection of the mode of use (Fig. 6)
The ROTARY HAMMER can be used in the following modes of use.
Rotary drilling
To screw and drill in steel, wood and plastic.
Percussion Drilling
Simultaneous rotation and percussion for drilling in concrete and masonry
Hammer mode
for light applications of minced, chiselled and demolition.
Tip rotation
"No work" position used only to rotate a flat chisel to the desired position Select the requi-
red operating mode by pressing the safety button and turning the mode selector switch
until it points to the required mode symbol Release the safety pad and make sure the mode
selector switch is locked in place. Do not select the operating mode while the machine is
running.
Always wait until the machine has completely stopped before changing the drilling, percus-
sion drilling function.
Do not use the chuck with SDS connector in association with the hammer drill hammer func-
tion.
